This Privacy Policy is issued by Pharmacy Brasil Las Americas Boca LLC ("Pharmacy Brasil," "we," "our," or "us"; full legal entity details are listed in the Company Information section at the end of this page), a pharmacy licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy, operating from our Boca Raton and Pompano Beach locations.
This Policy applies to personal information collected through our website pharmacybrasil.com, our online pharmacy services, our appointment booking system, our chat assistant, and any related communications (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
We comply with applicable federal and state laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA). Our handling of Protected Health Information (PHI) is further described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs in the event of any conflict with this Policy as to PHI.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Identity and contact information: name, date of birth, gender, billing address, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp number.
- Health information: prescriptions and prescription uploads, photographs of medication packaging you submit as proof of current use, allergy information, medication history, and records of consultations with our pharmacists or healthcare providers.
- Prescriber information: the name and phone number of your prescriber, if you ask us to contact them for your prescription.
- Chat and messaging content: the content of conversations you have with our team or with our chat assistant through the website, WhatsApp, or other messaging channels we offer.
- Payment information: payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
- Order information: products ordered, order history, pickup details, and customer service interactions.
- Technical information: IP address, device and browser type, and website usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To verify, process, and dispense prescription and over-the-counter orders, including verification of prescriptions with your prescriber.
- To request your prescription from your prescriber, if you ask us to do so.
- To process payments, prevent fraud, and secure our Services.
- To prepare orders for pickup and communicate order status.
- To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries, including through our chat assistant.
- To schedule and manage in-person appointments.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations applicable to pharmacies, including record-keeping requirements.
- To send you marketing communications, only where you have consented; you may opt out at any time (see Your Privacy Choices).
4. Protected Health Information (PHI)
Your PHI is used and disclosed only for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations, or as otherwise permitted or required by law, as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. We do not sell your PHI. We do not use or disclose your PHI for third-party advertising, and we do not share the medications you order, your health conditions, or similar sensitive information with advertising or analytics vendors.
5. How We Share Information
We share information with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers: payment processors, IT and hosting providers, messaging and chat platforms, and customer support tools, under contracts that restrict their use of your information. Where a service provider handles PHI, we require a Business Associate Agreement.
- Healthcare providers: your prescriber, and licensed healthcare providers involved in your care.
- Legal and regulatory: where required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority, including the Florida Board of Pharmacy and other health oversight agencies.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Communications, Messaging, and Chat Assistant
We may communicate with you by phone, email, SMS, or WhatsApp regarding your orders, prescriptions, and appointments. Standard email, SMS, and WhatsApp messaging are not encrypted to healthcare security standards, and communications sent through these channels carry a risk of interception or unauthorized access. By providing your contact details and initiating or accepting communication through these channels, you consent to their use for these purposes. You may request alternative communication methods (such as phone or fax) at any time by contacting us.
Our website and messaging channels may offer an automated chat assistant to help you find products, answer general questions, and connect you with our team. Conversations with the chat assistant are recorded and may be reviewed by our staff to assist you and to improve the service. The chat assistant provides general information only — it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Please do not use the chat assistant for medical emergencies; call 911 instead.
7. Analytics and Advertising Technologies
We use analytics and advertising technologies (such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel) only on public areas of our website. These technologies are not used on pages where you enter health information, in checkout, or within your account area, and they are not connected to your health information. 8. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including access controls, encryption of data in transit, and staff confidentiality obligations. 11. Children
The Services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through the website. If you believe a minor has provided us information through the website, contact us and we will delete it as required by law.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date shown on this page indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
